the gang at work - workers in Belize get paid between $25 - $50 Belize dollars per day ($12..50 - $25.00 US dollars) and they are VERY HAPPY to have a job / it breaks my heart to think about how hard they all have to work to just survive - but I didn't break it and I can't fix it, so I work at paying on the upper end of the local scale and trying to otherwise just be a positive part of their lives
