This mornings visitor...........=)

Last night it was a search party from the neighborhood battalion of army ants (they left after about 1/2 hour) - and this morning it was a small terantula on the inside of the screen door - ..........................what a place!

The army ants ate every bug in sight and the terantuala is apparently harmless unless provoked (and I had no interest in provoking it, although I did encourage it to move to the other side of the screen)

There was an article in the 2003 (June 8) Awake! Magazine that talked about army ants.
