we made good progress today - still no floor, and that is a real pain - but we got all the 4X4's up and the first "sticks" were placed. It is very difficult to explain how all of the sticks work together to create a very strongend result, but part of the function of the 6 stick beams in the picture is to tie the outside walls together and the first three from the left will support the second floor loft that will be our bedroom - facing the sunrise
