no sooner had the dust settled on a wonderful Sunday then one of Kathy's Bible Students showed up with her family. Katarina runs one of the "shops" or small stores in Big Falls and we had been trying to get her to come "visit" - it worked out GREAT

on the subject of May plums, just last week Mirtha Ack and her sister Senida enjoyed a trip up into the branches of the MAy plum tree to reap "their" harvest 

the May plums have been under seige for weeks - fortunately the fruit is prolific and everybody can easily get their share 

We had our first house guests on Saturday night. The Sho family from San Antonio Village came on the 2:30 bus. I picked them up at the dump (there is a long story that goes with that name (ie the dump)). Anyway, they spent Saturday afternoon and evening with us and then Sunday we went to the Spanish meeting in Punta Gorda and Nicholas gave the public talk in Big Falls. We reconnected after the meetings and had lunch, then I took the family back to San Antonio. What a GREAT weekend! 

the last four blossoms of the current orchid emerged yesterday morning and they are as beautiful as their predecessors - this one was a "double-dripper" 

our bed faces the sun rise and our guests will get a prime look at the sunset

Nicholas Sho and his family will road test the new accomodations tonight - he is giving the talk tomorrow. 

our open air living space now has a spot for guests - it's not exactly the Hilton, but for bunk-house living it is pretty comfortable and the view from the bed is very nice 

finally, this is the "bug of the day" - kind of a cute guy, with certain leaf-like qualities about him and posing no threat that I could discern
