We had our first house guests on Saturday night. The Sho family from San Antonio Village came on the 2:30 bus. I picked them up at the dump (there is a long story that goes with that name (ie the dump)). Anyway, they spent Saturday afternoon and evening with us and then Sunday we went to the Spanish meeting in Punta Gorda and Nicholas gave the public talk in Big Falls. We reconnected after the meetings and had lunch, then I took the family back to San Antonio. What a GREAT weekend! Posted by Picasa

the last four blossoms of the current orchid emerged yesterday morning and they are as beautiful as their predecessors - this one was a "double-dripper" Posted by Picasa

our open air living space now has a spot for guests - it's not exactly the Hilton, but for bunk-house living it is pretty comfortable and the view from the bed is very nice Posted by Picasa
