the "characters of the week" are Miss D (Deonecia) and her son Elvis - the stories are many and they really are "characters" ..................and personal friends. Miss D has a great homemade tatoo on her arm that reads "daughter of darkness" - she is a real PIP, and Elvis ..............., is Elvis Posted by Picasa

Kathy and I were playing cribbage out on the sun-deck this morning and
I happened to notice how neat the leaves of the local papaya looked - I won, by the way Posted by Picasa

being a puppy is a LOT of HARD work Posted by Picasa

the ever-patient Miss Bo's days as a "nurse-maid" will very soon come to an end, but for now she is still the best of all possible mothers Posted by Picasa

good clean water is fine and healthy and all of that - but there is NOTHING quite lke a good mud puddle Posted by Picasa

the puppies continue to grow, surprise, and irritate - here they give cause to smiles as they go for a romp with "dear old dad" Posted by Picasa

these sweet things are on a tree just as you reach Punta Gorda Town and I finally remembered the camera for them as well Posted by Picasa

there are a bunch of these beauties along farmer's road on the way out to the village and I finally remembered the camera to get a picture Posted by Picasa

then she went to hang out with the guys for awhile - she too is going to be a very large and strong dog - even now she takes absolutely no guff from either of her brothers Posted by Picasa

"butterfly" (a temporary name that is only slightly better than "the white one") watched as her brothers ventured forth Posted by Picasa

Leo and the Rock took a little cruise down the driveway tonight - sort of cruisin' the perimeter - protecting the rest of us from the dangers of the jungle no doubt Posted by Picasa

this is Marcie sitting on the "pity-pot" waiting for SOMEONE to put some food in at least ONE of these EMPTY bowls Posted by Picasa

this is Rocky aka "the Rock" he is all muscle (and no discernable brain ).
Rocky and his brother Leo are going to be very large and strong dogs - right now they are just a whole lot of fun and still cute Posted by Picasa

besides being a cutie Marcie is also a sweetie - her and her look-alike brother (picture to follow one of these days) are the primary pants-leg tuggers of the group - they routinely get drug around the kitchen each one attached to a pants leg. Today Marcies look-alike brother Rocky (Rocky Marcie-ano, ............get it ? ) tore a hole in Kathy's pants leg and is now in the dog house Posted by Picasa

the ever-patient "mother Bo" and the puppy now known as Marcie (named after a personal friend that lives on Cape Cod...............=) Posted by Picasa
