what we have here is one very goofy puppy - taking a little rest on top of a dusty cast iron skillet - we're thinking that maybe his name is Leo 

as the pupalopes continue to grow they play "with" "in" or "on" everything, including their ever patient mother

so far it has been kind of hard to get good pictures of the dark ones, but this brown/white one photographs pretty nicely 

this passion fruit has a date with a blender and as jimmie buffett said "...and soon it will render that frozen concoction that helps me hang on"......................=)

they are pretty entertaining 

the five little piglets are growing very fast and have gotten very active over the past few days. They are now either in hyper-drive, conked out in the shade, or filling their enormous bellies. Trying to take "action" pictures is really difficult too - trying to keep them in the frame long enough to be able to pull the trigger is quite a challenge.

it is SO EASY to find beautiful images here - even in the seemingly mundane everyday things 

just a few random pictures from this afternoon - the red heleconia bathed in a little sunset light 

this boistrous fellow stopped by our favorite trumpet tree this morning and made more noise than the chachalacas do - not sure what his story was but he was very noisy. I will leave him un-named in hopes that one of the kids with a bird book can figure out just what he is - sorry for the fuzziness, that's the way the zoom works on this camera (or there is something that I am doing wrong .......=(

...............then it flexed its muscles and a whole new dimension came to light - orange really isn't my favorite color but this critter was very nice looking 

I had an interesting visitor to my laptop this morning - I guess it is the bug of the day - it appeared pretty nondescript until it spread it's wings 

and plenty of sweet yellow coconuts (I planted another 8 yellow coconuts this fall) 

otherwise there are still plenty of green coconuts 

the early lime tree is just begining to have ripe fruit as well and it is really loaded - we will have all of the citrus that we can handle very soon. I also planted four more lime trees of a different variety and two grapefruit trees this year. Two more lime trees have had cumquats grafted onto them and that will be a nice addition in just a few years. 

the oranges are prolific, have very nice size to them, and they are starting to sweeten up - soon we will be awash in fresh squeezed OJ
